About this file

This file contains documentation for facilities maintenance services provided at Fort Bragg, North Carolina in fiscal year 2015. The documentation includes performance metrics for emergency, urgent, and routine demand maintenance work orders completed within established timeframes, as well as percentages of preventative maintenance funds expended compared to planned amounts. Services included maintenance and repair of installation facilities, with data presented quarterly on numbers of work orders completed within standards out of total work orders. Challenges in fully completing routine orders and executing all planned preventative maintenance were noted, related to insufficient staffing and funding for some projects.

The corresponding federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice for non-personal operations and maintenance service order center services to be provided to the Directorate of Public Works at Fort Bragg. The contractor will be accountable for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, facilities, tools and other items to perform services to standards specified in the performance work statement, without government supervision over contract service providers.

Data Note: The continued issue with Completing Pri 2 orders within standard is the ever increasing backlog due to lack of Manpower as well as takings (like windows and doors contract, Roofing issues, Boiler repairs) that sit with insufficient funding to contract out the tasking and insufficient Manpower to complet the job for months or years at a time.
