About this file

This document contains a draft request for proposal and technical exhibit outlining logistics services requirements for the Internal Revenue Service. The IRS seeks proposals for logistics support services including warehousing, transportation, repairs, work order processing and other logistics functions supporting approximately 88,000 employees across 500 offices nationwide. The contractor must provide an automated management information and inventory system, dependable services to support processing over 250 million tax returns, and flexibility to adapt to changing IRS office requirements. Examples of work orders are provided for moving items between buildings. The current contract is set to expire and a new solicitation is expected to be released in fiscal year 2023 for an estimated five-year period of performance.
