The specification includes detailed requirements for chassis, engine, transmission, cab features, safety components, and additional district-specific options such as a front-mount flusher system and a hose reel.
The rental specification includes comprehensive vendor requirements, mandating that the vendor is responsible for delivery, pickup, maintenance, and service of the trucks. If a machine cannot be repaired within 72 hours, an equivalent replacement must be provided at no additional cost. The specification requires educational instruction for two personnel, with a minimum of three hours of training on safety, operation, routine service, and daily maintenance. Bids will only be accepted from established manufacturers or their authorized dealers, with the vendor guaranteeing serviceability and immediate repairs.
