About this file

This document is a Bid Amendment related to Bid Solicitation #22DPP00720 T2499 Foods: Various Foods Items - Statewide, issued by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property. The bid solicitation is for the procurement of various food items on a statewide basis. The bid submission due date is April 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The bid solicitation includes a partial small business set-aside for Categories 1 (Spices) and 2 (Sauces), and Vendors must be registered as a qualified small business with the Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services by the bid opening date to be eligible. Vendors can submit quotes for items outside the set-aside categories, and all responsive quotes will be considered for award. The state intends to make contract awards to all responsive Vendors for each brand offered per category/price line that meets the requirements.

The bid amendment provides answers to questions related to accessing PDF documents, reviewing submitted quotes, exceptions to the state's standard terms and conditions, small business registration and certification, and the availability of price sheets. It also clarifies that Vendors with an expired or revoked small business status will still be considered for award if no responsive quotes from registered small businesses are received. Pricing on the current contract for these items is available through the NJSTART procurement system.
