Q # Question Answer
Would the Department consider allowing MASH TL-3 Length of
Need high tension cable barrier for this project as the maximum slope is 6:1? Other states allow MASH TL-3 on slopes up to 6:1 per the current Roadside Design Guide (AR, AZ, CA, CO, MS, MT, ND, NM, NV, OR, SD, TN, UT and WV). In doing so, the Department would get competitive material pricing.
The MASH TL-4 requirement will remain as noted in the standard specifications.
