About this file

This is a bid amendment document issued by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury's Division of Purchase and Property for Bid Solicitation #25DPP01128, which seeks bulk food items for Distribution and Support Services on behalf of South Woods State Prison. The amendment includes revisions to the bid solicitation and answers to questions from the Electronic Question and Answer period that ended January 29, 2025. Quotes are due February 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. The contract term is expected to start in 2025 and run for three years, with estimated quantities ranging from small amounts like 375 cases of yellow mustard to larger quantities like 1.2 million pounds of frozen chicken tender pieces over the contract term. The amendment provides detailed estimated annual quantities and per-order quantities for items including textured vegetable protein, mayonnaise, rice, cornstarch, tomato products, beans, pasta, and frozen vegetables.

The amendment clarifies that all quotes must be submitted electronically through NJSTART, and price adjustments may be considered after award in exceptional situations with proper justification. Group 2 (Price Lines 6 and 7) requires vendors to bid on both items to be considered responsive. The State makes no guarantee of contract usage or total quantities and reserves the right to modify quantities as needed. Vendors must provide specification data sheets for all equivalent brands not listed as approved. While specific pricing terms are not detailed, the amendment emphasizes that quotes must include firm, fixed prices and all required documentation to be considered responsive.
