About this file
This document is a Bid Amendment #3 for Bid Solicitation #20DPP00554, issued by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property, for Food Service at the New Jersey National Guard Training Center in Sea Girt. The amendment involves multiple state agencies including the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMAVA), Department of Law and Public Safety (LPS), Department of Corrections (DOC), and New Jersey State Police, with potential participation from additional organizations like the Juvenile Justice Commission and Youth Challenge Program.
The contract covers comprehensive food service operations, including meal preparation and service for drill weekends, training programs, youth camps, and special events, with estimated annual meal counts ranging from approximately 31,000 to 45,500 meals across different categories. The pricing is firm-fixed for the contract term, with meal prices previously ranging from $1.25 for snacks to $6.50 for VIP receptions. The solicitation is a small business set-aside for subcontracting, with a monthly facility use fee of $8,750, and requires the contractor to provide all food and non-food related items except dinnerware. The contract term appears to be three years, with potential extensions, and includes provisions for adjusting services during pandemic-related disruptions.
