About this file
The document is a policy update regarding System for Award Management (SAM) representations that may become outdated or irrelevant. Specifically, the document highlights that certain required representations, such as those related to greenhouse gas emissions (52.223-22) and affirmative action compliance (52.222-25), may persist in SAM even though contracting officers will not consider or enforce them during award decisions. Entities are informed that they are neither required nor able to remove these outdated representations from their SAM registration.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation (QSE--36C78625Q50314) for HVAC and ice machine maintenance at Eagle Point National Cemetery, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration. The contract requires a contractor to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance services, including labor, equipment, parts, and transportation for the cemetery's HVAC system, ice machine, and air supply. The work must be completed at 2763 Riley Rd, Eagle Point, OR 97524, in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and the Statement of Work. Contractors must carefully follow solicitation instructions in section 4, with a warning that failure to submit all requirements may result in disqualification.
