About this file
This is a user manual for the Statewide Stormwater Maintenance Application Field Maps and Web Application, developed for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). The manual provides comprehensive guidance on using ArcGIS Field Maps for iOS and desktop environments to conduct stormwater infrastructure inspections and maintenance logging across GDOT's statewide stormwater program and MS4 inspection programs. The application enables field personnel to document and manage two primary categories of infrastructure: structures (including catch basins, manholes, inlets, outlets, headwalls, endwalls, and spillways) and conveyances (such as pipes and culverts). Users can search specific infrastructure by ID, toggle visibility between DAII and MS4 program layers, and access mapping tools including basemaps, bookmarks, legends, markup features, and measuring capabilities. The manual outlines detailed form fields for initial infrastructure mapping, inspection documentation, and maintenance logging.
The application supports three types of maintenance inspection workflows: Review (for assessing future maintenance needs), Maintenance Performed (for logging completed maintenance activities), and Inversa Follow-Up Wanted (for requesting specialized Level 2 or CCTV inspections). Maintenance activity codes include manual and mechanical drain cleaning, ditch restoration, pipe installation/repair, concrete construction/repair, erosion control, and culvert repair or extension. Field personnel must document inspection dates, inspector names, blockage percentages, structural conditions, defects, erosion types, and corrective action recommendations. The desktop web application provides additional capabilities including smart editor functionality, filter widgets for structure and conveyance review, CSV export options, follow-up recommendation review, and customizable symbology for reporting purposes. No pricing, contract terms, funding sources, or award information is provided in this technical manual.

The Structure Review Filter allows you to filter structure inspections to only view structures in your District, District Area, Blockage, Condition and Maintenance Status. Using this in conjuction with the attribute table allows you to quickly access and review inspection information.
1. By entering District 5, the attribute table will now filter to only show District 5 structures.
2. By entering blockage of 51-75% and 76-100%, the attribute table will now filter to only show District 5 structures with blockage of 51-75% and 76-100%.
3. By entering Maintenance Status of Needs Review, the attribute table will now filter to only show District 5 structures with blockage of 51-75% and 76-100% that have not been reviewed or had maintenance performed on them.
Desktop Review Workflow
Now that the filter has been set you can open your attribute table to view all structures that fit the above criteria.
In the example above you can see that 73 structures fit the criteria of Maintenance Status of Needs
Review, the attribute table will now filter to only show District 5 structures with blockage of 51-
