The contractor must also install safety systems including a photo-eye sensor and wireless edge sensor, plus a "Free Exit" loop with detector for automated departure gate opening.

The barrier system component requires installation of approximately 1,690 linear feet of M30 P2 Integrated Cable Barrier System on the inside of the perimeter fence, physically attached to the fence line and along the cantilever slide gate. Eight-inch barrier posts must be installed at every corner with maximum 200-foot spans between posts, set in 24-inch by 72-inch concrete footings without rebar. All materials must meet baseline specifications including Schedule 40 piping and framework, galvanized chain link fabric, and standard structural concrete. The contractor is responsible for site preparation and cleanup, obtaining all necessary security clearances and permits, compliance with applicable building and safety codes, preparing as-built drawings in AutoCAD .dwg format, and repairing any government property damage.
