1.0 Description of Requirement: Procure and install large ceiling fans, column/wall mounted fans, evaporative coolers, portable floor fans per the chart below.

Wall Mounted Fan, 6 ft. fan diameter

- The fan shall be equipped with a rugged and easy to assemble cage.

- The entire fan assembly shall be built pursuant to the construction guidelines set forth by UL standard 507 and CSA standard 22.2. No. 113.

- The fan components shall be designed specifically for high volume, low speed fans to ensure lower operational noise.

- Sound levels from the fan operating at maximum speed shall not exceed 63.5 dBA

- The fan shall be equipped with six (6) high volume, low speed airfoils of anodized aluminum alloy.

- The fan motor shall be a permanent magnet brushless motor rated for continuous operation at maximum speed with the capability of modulating the fan speed from 0–100% without the use of a gearbox or other mechanical means of control.

- The motor shall operate from 110–125 VAC, single phase, and 50/60 Hz

- The motor shall be a non-ventilated, heat sink design with the capability of continuous operation in -4°F to 131°F

- The fan mounting system shall be designed for quick and secure installation on a variety of structural supports. The fan shall be capable of mounting to a bar joist or I-beam roof structure or to a vertical column.

- All mounting bolts shall be Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Grade 8 or equivalent.

- The design of the upper mount for ceiling-mounted fans shall provide two axis of rotation

- The cage shall be of welded wire construction, plated for corrosion resistance.

Custom Installation Services for 53 Wall Mounted Industrial Overhead Fans.

Contractor shall provide all labor and parts to include; mechanical installation plus electrical (breakers, switches, electrical from panel to fans, calibration and start-up, etc.). Wiring shall be installed per NED between the power source and onboard VFD or fan electronics board, not to exceed 250 linear ft per fan. Contractor shall install wire and a junction box within 5 ft of each fan mounting location per NEC. Contractor shall install NEMA twistlock recepticales for each fan. Fans will be installed in/on around existing infrasteructure at a height that would cover the tops of all aircraft at a maximum height of 15 ft. Fans must be fully operational. Contractor will provide all lifts up to 15ft required for installation Warranty: One-year warranty on parts and labor of installation

1.1. Scope of Work. The contractor shall provide material and services to include but not limited to the delivery and installation of fans, evaporative coolers, and portable fans.

1.2. The contractor will be responsible for loading and transporting all debris generated from the installation of the fans. They will dispose of it in any way they see fit in accordance with local laws and regulations.

1.3.The contractor will provide one-year warranty on parts and labor.
1.4.The contractor will provide contact service information and warranty forms.
2.0Delivery: Freight on Board (FOB) Destination delivery terms (in accordance with FAR 47.303-6) to HAFB, UT shall apply.
3.0Period of Performance: 180 days After Receipt of Order (ARO).
4.0Place of Installation: Hangars 225 at HAFB, UT
5.0Security Requirements: Contractor shall adhere to current installation security policies.
5.1. List of Employees: Upon contract award, the contractor shall submit to the Government Representative a list of contractor employee names, social security numbers, and driver’s license numbers, or other means of positive identification of all employees that will perform services on HAFB. Foremen, supervisors, and superintendents must be identified on the list of employees. The contractor shall submit an updated list when an employee's status or information changes. The name of any contractor employee that is terminated during the period of the contract must be reported to the CO in writing within one workday of the employee’s termination.

5.2. Pass and Identification: The contractor shall ensure the pass and identification items required for contract performance on HAFB are obtained for employees and non-Government owned vehicles. All identification media, including vehicle passes from employees who depart for any reason before the contract expires; e.g. terminated for cause, retirement etc., or upon completion. The contractor shall notify the GR when an employee departs and return the employee’s identification to the office that issued it. Contractor employees are responsible for safeguarding all Government property and controlled forms provided for the contractor’s use. At the end of each work period, the contractor shall secure all HAFB facilities equipment and materials.

6.0 Saftey Requirements: The contractor shall comply with all local and federal laws and safety regulations. Compliance with OSHA and other applicable laws and regulations for the protection of contractor employees is exclusively the obligation of the contractor, and the Government will assume no liability or responsibility for the contractor’s compliance or non-compliance with such responsibilities. The contractor is responsible for furnishing contractor employees with all necessary personal protective equipment to perform services

7.0 Tool Control: The Contractor shall comply with Tool Control and Accountability Procedures as listed herein when contractor owned tools or equipment are brought into any maintenance area with the Complex.

7.1. Lost Tools: All tools should be accounted for daily at the end of each shift. If tools, and/or equipment are lost in the aircraft maintenance area, the contractor will report the loss to the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) with in 30 minutes of discovering the item is lost. Every effort shall be made to recover the item before reporting it as lost/

7.2. Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Safety Requirements: FOD is any foreign object which causes damage to an aircraft. To ensure no construction materials become FOD the contractor is required to; ensure all deliveries and vehicles are properly covered and clean prior to entering the industrial area, ensure all work areas are cleaned daily, ensure all construction debris is contained within the work zone. Thoroughly clean all installed products and all construction areas prior to turning over to government.

7.3. Safeguarding: The contractor shall be responsible for safeguarding all their property as well as all government property provided for contractor use. At the close of each work period, government and contractor facilities, property, and materials shall be secured.
8.0Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Services: The US Government will not provide any equipment, fuel, personnel or utilities to the contractor for the execution of this contract. Should an emergency arise, only the necessary basic lifesaving and life support measures will be provided during the emergency.
