STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

Laundry Service Contract for DLA HQC Special Events

1.0 INTRODUCTION

1.1. BACKGROUND. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) headquartered at 8725 John J.

Kingman Road Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060. DLA Headquarters Installation Support provides support for all personnel within the McNamara Complex. The needed support includes providing material for various special events within the complex. The materials include but are not limited to tablecloths, table skirts, napkins, placemats, aprons, towels and rugs.

2.0 REQUIREMENT

2.1. GENERAL. Starting 1 June 2024 Through 31 May 2027, DLA will have requirements to have laundry service provided for special events at DLA Headquarters Complex. The laundry service is required to provide clean tablecloths, table skirts, placemats, napkins, aprons, hand towels, bath towels,coats, small and large rugs for various events. Depending on the amount of events and items needed for the events, service dates and amounts can’t be specified. Since those requirements are not yet fully and completely defined, the Government is choosing the Statement of Work (SOW) as the appropriate mechanism to meet the requirements as they are identified. The laundry service vendor must be active in the System for Award Management (SAM) with a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. The conditions of the requirements will be based on the following two important factors:

a) The amount of events conducted during this period of time.

b) Items needed to prepare and host the special events.

The contract will be based and agreed upon a yearly set of prices from the laundry service vendor.

Laundry service vendor will charge for services provided based on items cleaned and quantities of those particular items. The vendor will provide monthly invoices at the end of the month for the charges incurred in Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). The Government will accept the services and process invoices for payments via WAWF for the charges incurred during the month.

2.2. TASKS. The vendor shall provide laundry services for DLA HQC per the general requirements as stated in the following paragraphs a) through b):

a) Vendor will pick up and drop off laundry from DLA HQC on a weekly basis or as requested by DLA HQC.

b) The material shall be returned by the vendor clean and presentable for DLA special events. If not, DLA Personnel shall have the right to return the items at no additional cost to the Government for proper cleaning and be available for pick up within five business days.

2.3. DETAILED REQUIREMENTS. Table 1 below provides the list and descriptions of the requirement items. The below tables 2 through 4 list the projected detailed requirements for the

Base Year period of performance of 1 June 2024 to 31 May 2025 and the subsequent two (2) Option Years of twelve (12) months each through 31 May 2027. The requirement quantities are broken down by annual projections as followed:

2.4. INVOICE INSTRUCTIONS. The vendor shall submit monthly invoices for actual services provided throughout the month via Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). A payment will be made by DFAS to the vendor every month via WAWF.

3.0 GOVERNMENT POINT OF CONTACT (GPOC)

3.1. A Government Point of Contact (GPOC) will be assigned to ensure that the contract requirements are met. The GPOC will act on behalf of the Government for this contract.

4.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

4.1. The period of performance is one base year and 2 option years as followed:
