About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the III Armored Corps Headquarters Gym Equipment procurement at Fort Hood, Texas. The Department of the Army seeks delivery of six pieces of commercial-grade fitness equipment: three Integrity-series treadmills and three Integrity-series cross-trainer ellipticals to outfit the basement of Building 1001. The equipment must be delivered within 45 days after contract award to Building 1001, Fort Hood, Texas 76544. Installation, setup, and placement will be performed internally by the unit, though the contractor must provide fully installed solutions meeting specified standards. All work must be completed during standard duty hours (0730-1630), and equipment must be operational 24/7 once installed.

The salient characteristics define specific requirements for both treadmill and elliptical equipment, including industrial silver or metallic gray color, commercial-grade LED exercise interfaces with multi-window displays, tactile membrane buttons for quick start and stop functions, U.S. customary unit readouts (miles, mph, pounds), English-language console overlays, Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity for heart rate straps and audio devices, and a minimum of 10 pre-programmed workouts. Treadmills must include a low-voltage base and standard North American 120V AC power cord with grounded NEMA plug and a straight 96-inch power cord. Both equipment types must be compatible with commercial-grade bases using standard communication protocols. Equipment acceptance is contingent upon full government inspection confirming functionality and compliance with stated requirements. All changes to the SOW or cost increases require prior written approval from the Contracting Officer, coordinated through the Program Management Office and Contract Specialist, executed through written modification.
