About this file

This Statement of Work pertains to the Maryland Department of Labor's purchase order request for proposals regarding the upgrade of their IBM power systems infrastructure. The project involves three primary components: the procurement of an IBM Power System S1014 with three years of hardware and software maintenance warranty, the installation and migration of services from the existing Power9 system to the new Power10 system, and the decommissioning and secure removal of the legacy IBM Power System S914-9009 model 41G (serial number 78ea9c0), including the disposal and secure deletion of sensitive data from the old Power9 server. The work requires an approved IBM reseller to provide complete and accurate information to develop a valid upgrade system proposal, with the user responsible for verifying that all configurations, pricing, terms, and conditions align with the stated specifications and current IBM sales information.

The project scope emphasizes the importance of accurate technical specifications and pricing alignment throughout the procurement and implementation process. No specific pricing terms, response dates, due dates, or contract award information is provided in this statement of work. The current environment involves the transition from IBM Power9 technology to IBM Power10 infrastructure, with the existing system requiring secure decommissioning to protect sensitive data during the removal process.
