About this file

This is an Approved Vendor List document issued by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC), effective December 1, 2024, that establishes procurement requirements for contractors performing work within the community. The list identifies pre-approved suppliers across multiple material categories, including aggregates, bagged cement and mortar products, concrete block and brick, precast concrete products, adobe products, ready mix concrete and grout, hot mix asphalt, stucco and high-performance mortar products, and landscape materials. The vendor list directly supports the community's Street Pavement Rehabilitation and Preservation Services contract (PW-26-002), which requires contractors to procure asphalt rubber overlay, asphalt rubber chip seal, and fog seal materials from SRPMIC-approved sources. Sealed bids for the pavement rehabilitation project are due November 5, 2025. The approved vendors listed include regional suppliers such as Salt River Sand and Rock (SRMG), Arizona Materials, Martin Marietta, Cemex Ready Mix, Solterra Materials LLC, and Southwest Asphalt, among others.

The vendor list enforces SRPMIC's purchasing policy requiring all contractors to source aggregates, cement, mortar products, and pozzolan materials through Salt River Materials Group (SRMG) or from approved suppliers that incorporate SRPMIC products into their offerings. This requirement applies to all projects performed within the community jurisdiction. Contractors are obligated to notify all suppliers of this purchasing mandate before requesting quotes and submitting bids. The approved vendors are expected to maintain competitive pricing comparable to non-SRPMIC suppliers; if pricing concerns arise, contractors may contact Clinton Wilkins at SRMG (480-850-5757). The document emphasizes that this policy ensures community economic development and material sourcing standards while maintaining competitive market conditions for qualified bidders.

APPROVED VENDOR LIST

Effective December 1, 2024

In keeping with the interests of the Salt River Pima‐Maricopa Indian Community, contractors for all projects are required to use aggregates, cement, mortar products and pozzolan (fly ash) obtained through SRP‐MIC resources. In addition to being purchased directly through Salt River Materials Group (SRMG), these materials are also incorporated into several other construction products.

For your convenience, we have prepared a list of product suppliers that currently meet the requirements of the Community’s purchasing policy with SRMG. Contractors should notify all suppliers about the requirement to use SRP‐MIC resources on projects at the Community prior to receiving quotes and submitting bids for projects.

The intent of this notice is to ensure the use of product suppliers that utilize SRP‐MIC products for their cement, fly ash, and aggregate needs. The companies on this list intend to be competitive with other similarly qualified companies that may not purchase materials from Community entities. If a claim is made that a product quote from a supplier on this list is unreasonably priced, please contact Clinton Wilkins at Salt River Materials Group, 480‐850‐5757.

If you would like contact information for any of these companies, or need any further assistance please contact us. We will update this, where appropriate, and forward to your attention as needed. Thank you for your support in implementing and overseeing this Community policy.
