About this file
This is Addendum 2 to procurement PW-26-002 issued by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) for Street Pavement Rehabilitation and Preservation Services. The addendum provides clarifications and corrections to the original bid schedule for a comprehensive roadway maintenance project involving asphalt rubber overlay, asphalt rubber chip seal, and fog seal applications across community roadways. The bid schedule encompasses 31 line items totaling significant quantities, including 200,000 pounds of crack seal material, 12,580 tons of asphalt rubber overlay (ARAC), 111 tons of fog seal material, approximately 323,000 linear feet of various pavement marking applications (both paint and thermoplastic), and 2,628 raised pavement markers of various types. The addendum clarifies technical specifications, measurement methodologies, and material requirements, specifying that tape must meet or exceed 3M 380-IES series standards, that transverse markings are measured as 4-inch equivalents, and that speed hump symbols consist of sets of four chevrons per location. The sealed bid deadline is November 5, 2025. Contractors performing 5% or more of the total scope must be listed on the Designation of Subcontractors form at the time of bid, with any post-award changes subject to community approval. The contractor is responsible for securing a staging yard for equipment and materials, coordinating with the Community's Project Manager. Specific pricing, set-asides, contract duration, and total project budget were not disclosed in the addendum document itself.

Addendum 2
Bid Schedule
The original Bid Schedule contained an error. Please use the amended Bid Schedule included at the end of this document.
Q & A
Q: Specifications call for Type I tape to be per ADOT section 705. ADOT 705 has various types of tape allowed. Is 3M Series 270 or equivalent allowed?
A: Tape shall meet or exceed the specifications of 3M 380-IES series (ref: SRPMIC Supplement to MAG Std Spec Section 402.2.3).
Q: Outside of Item #24, where are transverse markings captured in your bid schedule? Do you have a 4" equivalent quantity for all crosswalks/stop bars?
A: With the exception of Bid Item 24, Bid Items 15, 17, and 22 represent the quantity of both longitudinal and transverse markings and will be measured as 4-inch equivalent (ref: ADOT Std Spec Sections 704-4 and 708-4).
Q: In Item #25 are the speed hump chevrons quantified as a single chevron or the entire set of chevrons per speed hump?
A: For Bid Item 25, the SPEED HUMP Symbol contains a set of 4 chevrons. Each unit measured represents the entire set of 4 chevrons per speed hump location.
Q: In reference to the Asphalt Rubber (AR) Chip Seal item, would the use of AC-15 TR+ binder be considered an acceptable alternative to the specified crumb rubber-modified PG 64-16 binder? Please note that a precoated hot chip would still be used as specified.
A: Only the specified binder is approved for the project.
PW-26-002 – Addendum 2 2
Q: Section 337 for crack seal is not found in ADOT or MAG can you send it please.
A: Please refer to the latest edition of the MAG Std Spec which contains Section 337 Asphalt Pavement Crack Sealing and Crack Filling.
Q: Is it allowed to add a new subcontractor during the work or after being awarded
A: Subcontractors performing 5% or more of the total scope of work should be listed on the Designation of Subcontractors form found in Appendix B with the intent that they will be used for the work for which they bid. Additions, changes or substitutions after award are subject to approval by the Community (ref: Notice of Solicitation 2.5.3).
Q: Do you provide a yard for contractor equipment?
A: A staging yard has not been designated, however, the Community has options available to the Contractor to utilize as a staging yard. The Contractor can coordinate with the Community’s Project Manager to identify a staging yard to secure material and equipment.
The Contractor shall be responsible for securing the staging yard (ref: Construction Documents Project Manual, Special Provisions, Contractor Staging Yard).
