About this file

This is a market research survey for NWU APECS Woodland Trousers Type III (PGC 03827) to be manufactured according to MIL-DTL-32741 with Amendment 1 dated March 25, 2024, and pattern dated August 17, 2023. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support is seeking information to determine an acquisition strategy for an Indefinite Quantity Contract with potential annual quantities ranging from 771 (minimum) to 19,275 (maximum) units across five tiers of 3,084 units each.

The survey requests information about manufacturing capabilities, including production rates, lead times (270 days for initial order, 180 days for subsequent orders), pricing estimates, and material/labor considerations. Respondents must address Berry Amendment compliance, commercial item availability, and production capacity. The anticipated contract term is one year with potential extension options up to four years total. Companies must provide details about their business size, type (Small Business/Large/HUBZone/SDVOSB), manufacturing status, and past performance on government contracts. The survey requires submission to Juwan Rainer at DLA and emphasizes this is not a solicitation for bids or proposals.
