About this file
This is a payment terms document (PD-124) from Argonne National Laboratory specifying requirements for electronic funds transfer (EFT)/wire payments under laboratory contracts.
The document establishes that all laboratory payments must be made via EFT/Wire, with an exception for domestic contractors to accept payment by check or other mutually agreeable methods if EFT/Wire is not possible, upon submission of form ANL-1094 "Electronic Transfer Authorization Form." For foreign contractors, wire payment is the only option unless special consideration is approved by Procurement. The Laboratory will not make payments until receiving correct EFT payment information via form ANL-1094, and any banking fees assessed are the contractor's responsibility. This payment terms document is associated with a solicitation for an X-ray lens Zoomlens system consisting of 50 lens elements on 24 bending fingers, with specific aperture and working distance requirements.

PD-124 (October 20, 2023)
PAYMENT BY ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER/WIRE
All payments by the Laboratory under this contract shall be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT)/Wire. In the event the Laboratory is unable to release one or more payments by EFT/Wire, the domestic contractor agrees to either accept payment by check or some other mutually agreeable method of payment via ANL-1094
“Electronic Transfer Authorization Form”. For foreign contractors, wire payment is the only form of payment unless special consideration is requested and approved by Procurement or delay in net payment could occur.
The Laboratory is not required to make any payment under this contract until after receipt of the ANL-1094 (a link is provided in the award documentation), by Accounts Payable of the correct EFT payment information from the contractor. Any intermediary or beneficiary banking charges/fees assessed by the contractor’s bank are the sole responsibility of the Contractor.
