About this file

This document is an Industry Day announcement for the Global Tires Program 2.0 (GTP 2.0) solicitation. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support is hosting a virtual Industry Day on March 25, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Columbus, Ohio time via Zoom. Interested companies must RSVP by Monday, March 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Columbus time to charles.mielkeii@dla.mil with participant names, titles, company affiliations, and phone numbers. Only pre-registered individuals will be permitted to attend. The Government will record the event and post Q&A responses to SAM.gov following the meeting.

The Industry Day agenda includes welcome remarks, a Global Tires Program overview, a Q&A session, and closing remarks. The Government requests attendees follow specific rules of engagement: log in five minutes early, use proper name formatting [Last Name, First Name - Company], mute microphones when not speaking, raise virtual hands to ask questions, avoid duplicating previously answered questions, and announce name and company before asking questions. This event is part of the broader GTP 2.0 solicitation (SPE7LX26R0030), which is a $3 billion 10-year contract opportunity with the DLA. Companies must be EDI capable with DLA by the time the RFP closes and should note that the draft RFP was released with a two-week comment period ending March 9, 2026, at 7 a.m. EST.

SUBJECT: Global Tires Program 2.0 (GTP 2.0) Virtual Industry Day

1. This document is intended to outline the Government’s intent, goals, and rules of engagement (ROE) for the upcoming GTP 2.0 Virtual Industry Day on 25 March 2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Columbus, OH time). The Government has selected to use Zoom as the medium for this Industry Day. We have tested this multiple times and have not had any issues with logging in via the external links.

Please RSVP to charles.mielkeii@dla.mil that your company is participating and provide a list of individuals who will be on the call to include the below information by Monday, March 23rd, 2026, 1:00 p.m. (Columbus, OH time). If more than one person, please use the attached spreadsheet.

Last Name:

First Name:

Company Name:

Title:

Phone number used to call in:

If logging into the meeting through the browser and it only asks for your name, please input your name in the following format so we can properly identify you: “First and Last Name – Company Name”. For example, Jane Doe who works at Willy Wonka, Inc. would input her name as “ Jane Doe – Willy Wonka, Inc.”

Note: Only individuals whose names have been provided will be allowed to enter Industry Day.

2. The Government’s intent and goals for this Industry Day is to further emphasize the Government’s proposal expectations and requirements for the GTP 2.0. Additionally, this is another opportunity to engage with industry to gain additional feedback and to clarify the Government’s expectations for the program the resultant awardee will support. Please expect that we will not be able to answer every single question in great detail during Industry Day, but we will research any unanswered questions and provide a detailed answer afterwards.

3. To ensure a productive GTP 2.0 Virtual Industry Day, the Government requests all interested parties abide to the following rules of engagement.

i. Log in 5 minutes prior to meeting start time.

ii. Sign in following this naming methodology [Last Name, First Name – Company].

iii. Mute your microphone when not speaking.

iv. Raise your virtual hand when you have a question and wait for the moderator to call on you.

v. Do not ask a question that has already been previously submitted and answered.

vi. Announce your name and company name prior to asking a question.

4. *NOTICE* the Government will be recording the event. The Q&A from Industry Day will be posted to SAM.gov after the event. In the case where a question was not answered, the Government will answer it and post it along with the rest of the Q&A from the GTP 2.0 Industry Day.
