About this file
This document is a presentation from a Global Tires Program (GTP) 2.0 Industry Day held on March 25, 2026, conducted by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) through the Chuck Contracting Office.
The GTP 2.0 program concerns the supply and supply chain management support of certain tires managed by DLA to support aircraft and ground systems worldwide. The acquisition strategy establishes separate contracts: one for logistics functions (GTP 2.0 Contractor/Supply Chain Service Provider contract) and multiple long-term vendor contracts for tire supply. The GTP 2.0 Contractor is required to obtain its tire inventory from Government-established vendor contracts utilizing FAR Part 8.105-2. The program flow involves customers and DLA issuing requisitions through the GTP 2.0 Integrator (if applicable) to multiple contract vendors, with the Supply Chain Provider managing CONUS/OCONUS distribution and OCONUS-to-forward stocking locations utilizing USTRANSCOM. The Industry Day was conducted on Zoomgov.com and was attended by approximately 20 companies including Amazon Business, Amentum Services, APL CEVA Government Logistics, ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, Cart.com, Cherokee Nation Government Solutions, DHL Forwarding, Greenwood Aerospace, and others. The event's purpose was to emphasize Government proposal requirements, engage with industry for feedback, and clarify Government expectations for the program support the resulting award will provide.
