A. This amendment is hereby issued to clarify question #37 from Amendment 0003 as follows:
37. Reference PWS document section C-3.3.1: It is stated that only laboratories meeting the requirements of ISO 10012-1 are to be utilized to conduct the tests. Can DLA Energy confirm that the current contractors being inspected under this contract have laboratories that conform to this ISO standard?
Amd. 0003 Answer: All laboratories in which the SPIC will be verifying samples are required to meet ISO 10012-1.
Remarks: Does this mean that SPIC will not have the requirement of having an owned laboratory under this contract?
Final Answer: No, The SPIC will not have the requirement of having an owned laboratory under this contract. See C-3.3.1 The SPIC will verify that samples are analyzed by a laboratory meeting ISO 10012-1 requirements. The laboratories shall be inspected to verify that they can conduct all required tests. The SPIC shall witness the testing performed in the laboratory for product offered. The SPIC will be provided with the requirements/specifications of the supply, storage and transportation contractors.
Also, DLA will provide a laboratory for verifying samples which will meet ISO 10012-1. Is it correct?
Final Answer: : No See PWS C-3.3.1 Testing Laboratory Requirement. DLA Energy has its own in country contracted laboratory.
B. No further questions will be accepted and considered.
