Amendment 0001 is hereby issued to provide details regarding the pre-proposal conference on January 11-12, 2016.
Pre-Proposal Conference – Marine Corps Bases – Okinawa, Japan
Location: Camp Butler, BSO Conference Room, Building 5973 Date: January 11-12, 2016 Time: 0800 hours Local Time
The purpose of the Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit will be to address questions regarding the solicitation and tour the facility. We urge all prospective offerors to attend this conference.
*The event times on the schedule are subject to change based on the flow of events*
This amendment to the solicitation provides a detailed schedule for the pre-proposal conference and site visits.
Attendee Registration Requirements – Offerors that do not possess a valid CAC and/or military ID (retiree, etc.) will be required to have their US passport present and a second form of ID (i.e. driver's license, etc.). Offerors that are Japanese nationals will be required to have a Japanese ID. For vehicles to gain temporary access to installation (escorted on); a copy of the vehicle registration will be required.
Offerors are requested to provide full name (Last, First, MI), and company affiliation of all requesting attendees via email to: Tonya.Willis@dla.mil and copy Alicia.Williams@dla.mil NLT January 4, 2016. This information must be provided in order to ensure adequate seating is available for conference attendees.
Offerors are requested to follow-up in writing NLT January15, 2016 with all questions to ensure that the same response is provided to all attendees. All responses will be provided via an amendment to the solicitation.
Remarks and explanations provided at this conference shall not qualify as a change to the terms of the solicitation and Performance Work Statement. Unless the Solicitation is amended in writing, it will remain unchanged. Should an amendment be issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgement and receipt of the amendment shall apply.
