About this file
This is Amendment 0005 to solicitation SPE300-26-R-0001 for Subsistence Prime Vendor services in Southwest Asia and Eastern Africa (SWAEA), issued by DLA Troop Support Directorate of Subsistence in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The amendment is not extended and does not require contractor signature. The amendment modifies Section VII (Inventory and Warehouse Management) regarding Government Furnished Material (GFM) for operational rations by adding monthly average storage quantities for the 12-month performance period from June 1, 2024 through May 31, 2025, including 55,830 cases of Meal Ready-to-Eat (MRE) IND TPK-2 items, 49,459 cases of pork-free MREs, and various quantities of Unitized Group Rations (UGR-A perishable and semi-perishable variants, UGR Heat & Serve, and UGR Short Order formats).
The amendment clarifies that these average quantities are informational only and actual storage requirements may vary based on customer demand, with payment limited to GFM distribution, storage, re-work, and re-labeling only when ordered and delivered. The Prime Vendor assumes liability for any loss of GFM regardless of insurance coverage, with reimbursement determined at the time of loss based on product cost. Additionally, the amendment incorporates the latest SWAEA Pricing Spreadsheet (26R0001_R2) with Federal Identification Code (FIC) additions in Column U to identify Master Load List (MLL) items for the contract period, noting that required MLL items may change annually. The Statement of Work page limit is revised to 75 pages inclusive.
