Amendment 0001

1. Revised Attachment 1, Menu of Services, supersedes the original solicitation and should be used to submit offeror's price proposal. Revision includes three (3) additional HINs (J97190, J97200 and J97210) for Schedule 1.

2. Revised Attachment 2, Projected Removal Locations, supersedes the original solicitation version. Revision includes deleting the entire list of locations included on page 2.

3. Attachment 8, DRMS Form 1683-1, is deleted in its entirety and will be marked "RESERVED".

4. Contractor questions (numbered 1-6) and government responses are provided.

5. PWS is revised to include the following:

1.2.9 STORAGE OF FORKLIFT ON GOVERNMENT PREMISES

a. The contractor will be provided limited indoor warehouse space to store one forklift at Kadena Air Base and Camp Kinser for the Contractor’s benefit and convenience in performing the contract.

b. In the event the Contractor’s permission to use indoor storage space is withdrawn, the Government may at its sole discretion offer an outdoor location, if reasonably available, for the Contractor to place a storage container to store the forklift when not being used or park one forklift without a storage container if uncontainerized storage is approved by the host installation. The Contractor must furnish the outdoor storage container. The container must be approved by the COR, be properly secured for typhoon conditions (e.g., concrete block/chain), and include a lock or other appropriate security system.

c. If a TCOR (typhoon condition) is declared, the Contractor must secure the forklift/storage container within eight (8) hours.

d. The Contractor will only have access to the indoor or outdoor storage areas during normal operating hours of the Government facility.

e. The Contractor will be allowed to use the battery charger at the Government facilities at Kadena Air Base and Camp Kinser, if compatible with the Contractor’s electric forklift. However, for Kadena Air Base only, if an electric forklift is used, the contractor is required to transport the forklift to the charging area, remain with the forklift during charging, and return the forklift to the storage area. The Contractor must not leave the forklift unattended during battery charging. This does not apply if a propane forklift is used.

f. The Contractor shall provide the Camp Kinser management staff with an ignition key for the forklift so it may be moved in an emergency situation.

g. The Contracting Officer may by written notice, at any time, withdraw authority for the contractor to store the forklift within the warehouse. Should the Government withdraw authority for the contractor to store the forklift either within an indoor warehouse space or on Government premises outside of the warehouse at any time during the term of the contract, the Contractor will nonetheless be responsible to perform the remainder of the contract under the terms and conditions of the contract. The Contractor agrees that it will not be entitled to an equitable price adjustment or any other contractual relief or damages if the Government’s authorization of storage space is withdrawn since such Government furnished space is not required by the contract.
