Contractors will be responsible for disconnecting, packaging and transporting the batteries as universal waste or in accordance with state laws. Related services include draining glycol from vehicles, but do not include disassembling vehicles or removing lithium or damaged batteries. The document provides clarification that all glycol is ethylene type and the vehicles are in good condition, but does not specify service volumes. It confirms that separate task orders will not be issued for different waste streams and that technicians are required to hold relevant state certifications.
