About this file

This is a Question and Answers document for Solicitation Number SP330026Q0092, a Defense Logistics Agency Distribution pre-employment medical physicals contract at Robins Air Force Base. The document addresses contractor inquiries regarding potential additional medical testing requirements beyond standard examinations.

The government clarified that no specific immunizations have been identified as required for work at Robins AFB facilities at this time, and declined the contractor's request to establish a separate Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) for immunization pricing. Similarly, the government confirmed that respiratory assessments have not been historically required and will not receive a separate CLIN; however, the government indicated that if either immunizations or respiratory assessments become necessary following contract award, the contractor may submit a request for equitable adjustment to cover associated costs. This approach places the initial pricing responsibility on the contractor based on current requirements while preserving the government's flexibility to address unforeseen medical examination needs through equitable adjustment mechanisms.

Question and Answers:

1. Will the government please provide a list of potential required immunizations?

0. At this time, we have not identified any specific required immunizations for work at Robins AFB facilities. After award, and if required, a request for equitable adjustment would be submitted by the contractor in order to cover the costs.

1. Because these immunizations are not part of the standard exam, will the government consider pricing them individually under a separate CLIN?

1. No. The government will not consider pricing these under a separate CLIN.

1. Because it is unknown how many applicants will require a Respiratory Assessment, will the government consider pricing them under a separate CLIN?

2. Based on history and current requirements, a respiratory exam has never been required. Therefore, a separate CLIN will not be provided. After award, and if required, a request for equitable adjustment would be submitted by the contractor in order to cover the costs.
