WATER SUPPLY WELL RESAMPLING PROGRAM

DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM RESAMPLING PROGRAM

Notes: ON-CALL - 1. Sampling shall be conducted all performance periods. See SOW Section 3.6 Work - Schedule: Period or Unscheduled (On-Call) Services

2. See SOW Section 3.7.12.2 Samples Collection – System Resampling Program: Distribution System. 3. Contractor shall provide labeled containers. 4. Label shall indicate sampling location and constituents. 5. Contractor shall notify COR within 24 hours of a potable water sample being detected as total coliform positive, and collect a repeat sample set within the same 24 hours. 6. A repeat sample set consists of three (3) samples: one from the same location as positive sample, one collected within 5 service connections upstream from positive sample, and one collected within 5 service connections downstream. 7. The COR shall designate sampling locations. 8. Contractor shall notify COR within 24 hours when one or more samples in repeat sample set is coliform positive, and take an additional set of repeat samples within the same 24 hours. 9. Repeat process until no coliform is detected in two (2) consecutive sample sets. 10. Sampling process shall be compliant IAW Title 22, Chapter 15, Article 3 of California Code of Regulations.

2. See SOW Section 3.7.12.1 Samples Collection – System Resampling Program: Wells. 3. Contractor shall provide labeled containers. 4. Label shall indicate sampling location and constituents. 5. Contractor shall notify COR within 24 hours of a total coliform positive, potable water sample. 6. Contractor will be notified by the COR of any resampling requirement. 7. Resamples must be taken within 24 hours of notification. 8. Well resampling shall consist of five samples taken at the following intervals: immediate, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, between 15 and 30 minutes. 9. Contractor shall notify COR within 24 hours when one or more samples in repeat sample set is coliform positive, and take an additional set of repeat samples within the same 24 hours. 10. Repeat process until no coliform is detected in two (2) consecutive sample sets. 11. Sampling process shall be compliant IAW Title 22, Chapter 15, Article 3 of California Code of Reg lations
