| 1 | Is detrash material released on a regularly scheduled drop time each work day? | Service Provider can isolate drops for a paticular DODACC is desired. Requisitions free flow into system. Currently highest workload tmxt in day is Friday. Issue required within APL timeline; 96 hours for detrash. |
Will the current CDRL A021 Training Report be provided so offerors can assess employees in TPU status? No. Reporting by SOP is not in current contract.
Can material be issued directly from receiving at time of receipt or must material first be stowed in location? Must be stowed in loaction in accordance with SOP.
What is the estimated time per employee involved in role as information gatherers? Information Gathers are an additive duty to multiple types of labor skills. For Cherry Point specifically, 20 NIINs were selected in FY 19 which resulted in 64 Evidential Matter packages for transaction tracing. The Info Gatherers typically have a 2 day turnaround window to provide those packages and have historically been able to meet that deadline. The length of time it takes to put 1 package together could vary based on availability of the information being requested. It could take an hour or it could take the entire 2 days for them to gather what they need to provide a comprehensive EM package. Transaction tracing occurs approximately Aug-Oct each year. The IPA also conducted controls walkthroughs at Cherry Point in FY19. This was an entire week’s worth of EM gathering for the Info Gatherers. They remain with Government Distribution HQs personnel past traditional core hours to put EM packages together for the auditors. Historically there have been 50-60 hour work weeks. There are often due-outs from the site visits that the Info Gatherers would be responsible for helping to fulfill. These could take several hours to track down as well. Site visit controls walkthroughs occur approximately Feb-Apr of each year. The workload could also vary year by year. For example, Cherry Point was only required to produce 18 EM packages in FY17 and supported a controls walkthrough. The Government anticipates that the IPA will continue to select samples at Cherry Point considering they have done so that last 2 years. The periods in between controls walkthroughs at the site and transaction tracing would not require much workload for the Info Gatherer role. There is a possibility for a task or 2 to pop up, but it would not be a steady daily workload. Please see Attachment J.1, Section 5.1, paragraph D for the Information Gatherers requirement.
Will new work such as F-35 be negotiated pricing or will it be priced same as CLIN 0001 or CLIN 0006 Special Projects CPFF Structure? Depending on information available, we may incorporate in a Task Order utilizing either CLIN. Regardless it will be negotiated with awardee.
