6. As this is a SCA project is there a wage determination for a helper? Same as Attachment 4, DoL Wage Determination
7. Is it the intention of the RFQ for a full time technician to be on-site, or is this only for part time support?
The intent is for a Contractor to provide preventive maintenance (PM) and remedial maintenance (RM) services based on the equipment list provided as Attachment 2 to the solicitation.
8. If full time support is required, is there an existing technician currently maintaining the systems?
No
9. PWS materials and equipment paragraph 7.8.5 states “The Contractor shall maintain sufficient off-the-shelf materials and equipment on hand to support service call work requirements. Lack of availability of materials or equipment shall not relieve the Contractor from the requirement to complete service call work within the time limits specified above.” Is there currently a sufficient spare parts inventory on site to cover this requirement?
No
10. Notice to Offerors paragraph 6 states “The Wage Grade equivalent to this position is as follows: Electrical Installation and Maintenance Electrician = $19.32 per hour (WG-2805-8)”.
