About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details external HVAC vent cleaning services for JBSA Randolph AFB in Building 999, scheduled for 7/2/2025. The contractor must provide labor, tools, equipment, and materials to clean external HVAC ceiling supply and return vents, indoor roofing surfaces, and metal extension beams located at or above 10 feet throughout designated facilities. The cleaning requires removing dust, debris, and potential biological contaminants using HEPA-filter vacuums, microfiber cloths, and non-toxic cleaning agents, ensuring no residue or streaks remain.
The project mandates strict safety and compliance protocols, including wearing protective equipment, using non-corrosive and non-toxic cleaning agents compliant with Air Force environmental standards, and providing Material Safety Data Sheets. Work must be performed during non-peak hours (primarily between 9:00 PM and 4:30 AM) with a schedule varying by day of the week. A mandatory post-award conference will be held to discuss zoning, equipment positioning, and other relevant topics. The Facility Manager will inspect the work upon completion, and any vents not meeting appearance standards must be re-cleaned at no additional cost.
