About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for PCB assembly services issued by Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) for the U.S. Department of Energy. The SOW outlines a two-phase PCB board assembly project with specific requirements: Phase 1 involves building 25 pre-production board assemblies as a qualification step, which requires the vendor to provide a quote for both 25 and 2,095 pieces, deliver the 25 pieces within one month, and submit a certificate of quality compliance. Phase 2, which is optional, involves manufacturing 2,095 production board assemblies. Key specifications include the vendor providing labor only, with BNL supplying PCBs and parts, and the work to be completed offsite with the vendor responsible for shipping. The vendor must complete assemblies within the promised lead time and is restricted from performing after-hours or weekend work, with all jobs approved by an authorized Technical Representative from BNL.
