About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details advertising requirements for Norfolk Naval Shipyard's (NNSY) hiring campaign in Hampton Roads, Central Virginia, and the Outer Banks area for January 2026. The SOW requires a multi-channel advertising approach including 30-second TV and radio commercials, social media ads, streaming platform advertisements, and digital marketing targeting potential job candidates for engineering, mechanical, and technical positions.

Specific requirements include multiple Cable TV and news ads on channels like History and Discovery, radio spots across multiple stations, Facebook and Instagram targeted ads, streaming ads on platforms like Spotify and iHeart Radio, and Facebook geo-fenced digital advertising. The campaign will run throughout January 2026, with ads targeting professionals aged 25-40 in the closest 20 counties. The contractor must produce a summary of activity within 10 business days after the career fair on Saturday, January 24, 2026, and strive to achieve recruitment goals "above the average" of current trends. The commercial script emphasizes NNSY as an equal opportunity employer seeking U.S. citizens for various engineering and technical roles.
