About this file
This Statement of Work details Norfolk Naval Shipyard's (NNSY) requirements for radio, television, and digital advertising to support a career fair hiring campaign in Hampton Roads, Central Virginia, and the Outer Banks area. The advertising campaign includes multiple media channels: TV ads on cable and news networks targeting engineering and mechanical programming, radio spots on multiple stations, social media advertising on Facebook and Instagram, streaming ads on platforms like Spotify and iHeart Radio, and digital geo-fenced Facebook advertising targeting potential employees.
Key specifications include a 30-second generic hiring commercial to air in March and June 2026, with ads running a minimum of three times daily across different time slots. The contractor must use Cameo.com to potentially include a celebrity message, provide detailed metrics throughout the campaign, target ages 25-40 in the nearest 20 counties, and deliver targeted ads in designated geographic areas. The career fair will be held on a Saturday between March and June, hosting 700-1000 people from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the venue to be determined in a separate contract. All applicants must be U.S. citizens able to pass government pre-employment screening.
