| 14.1 | Angled Input Belt | Angled Input Belts shall have the same width measurement of the conveyor belt of the X-Ray systems described on Req ID#s: 10.1(L) ,10.2(M), and 10.3 (S). The angled input belt carries baggage/parcels upwards from the floor to interface with the required system’s tunnel openings. The bottom of the angled input belt shall be no higher than 3” above ground level. A guard shall be installed on the input end of the angled input belt to prevent any safety issues with passenger interaction with moving belt. The roller tables shall be available in varying lengths 1.5-meter, 1.0 meter and 0.5 meter. The rollers shall be capable of sliding soft-sided baggage over the surface area with minimal effort. Roller tables assist the transfer of baggage/parcels exiting the X-Ray system’s conveyor belt onto secondary inspection stations. Roller tables shall be free standing and capable of being secured to the floor, to the X-Ray system, as well as to other roller tables, if applicable. The roller table shall extend across the entire frame width. Roller tables shall have removable guarding characteristics to prevent baggage/parcels from slipping off to the sides. The rollers shall be capable of sliding soft-sided baggage over the surface area with minimal effort. The roller table’s height shall be ≥ 25 inches and ≤ 36 inches with fixed feet (no casters) measured from floor to roller top. The rollers’ spacing shall not exceed one inch. The roller table maximum load weight capacity shall be ≥ 365 pounds for all lengths. The gravity slides allow inspected baggage/parcels to exit the area by sliding down towards ground level to facilitate and speed up the retrieval process. The gravity slide shall attach to the X-Ray systems’ conveyor belts and, if applicable, roller tables. The gravity slides are angled downward to allow the baggage/parcels to slide with only gravity power. The slide shall be durable to last the life of the Baggage X-Ray and made of materials that allow the baggage/parcels to slide easily. The Gravity Slide shall allow parcels to be retrieved at ground level, slide stop shall extend no more than 6" above ground level. | (T=O) | N/A | 14.3 | X | 14.3 | 14.3 | works well no adjustment | X | 14.3 | X | 14.3 | X | 14.3 | 14.3 | 14.3 | X | 14.3 | 14.3 | 14.3 | X | 14.3 | 14.3 | X | 14.3 | 14.3 | X | |||||||||||||||||||||
