About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines temporary lodging requirements for U.S. Coast Guard Reserve personnel performing Inactive Duty Training (IDT) in the Southwest District (D11), which covers California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. The contract covers lodging for multiple Coast Guard units from January 1-31, 2026, with an estimated 100 rooms needed monthly. Specific lodging requirements include non-smoking, double-occupancy rooms with separate beds, strict segregation rules for berthing based on rank, gender, and unit, and lodging facilities within 5-10 miles of each unit's location.

Key technical requirements include charging only for actual rooms used, maintaining GSA per diem rate limits, providing monthly manifests with room assignments, and ensuring lodging facilities meet minimum standards such as fire safety compliance, three-star rating, and 24/7 front desk service. The contractor must handle room bookings, provide cancellation windows, and submit monthly reports. Individual Coast Guard members will be responsible for personal charges like telephone, room service, and gratuities, while the government will only pay for authorized room charges. The contract covers units in locations including Alameda, San Pedro, San Francisco, San Diego, and other California sites.
