About this file

This is a Statement of Work for moorage services for the NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada in Kodiak, Alaska. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Office of Marine & Aviation Operations, Marine Operations Center Pacific requires pier berthing at a single, stable location for two separate in-port periods: July 31 to August 5, 2026, and September 1 to September 5, 2026. The vessel is 209 feet in length with a 20-foot draft at Mean Lower Low Water and requires a berth that accommodates these specifications without requiring relocation during any moored period.

Required services include moorage for a 209-foot vessel, potable water at 2,000 gallons per day, garbage disposal with a 10 cubic yard trash dumpster, sewage disposal, and shore power billable to Marine Operations Center Pacific. The facility must allow use of security contract 1305M222FNMAN0014. The in-port period will support ship operations including stores provisioning, bunkering, oily waste pump-off operations, and loading operations to ensure mission readiness. These additional operations will be handled through separate contracts.
