SOL-OAA-11-000098 - AMENDMENT II
August 8, 2011
This amendment is to clarify questions regarding the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The period for submitting and responding to questions pertaining to this RFQ is now closed.
Question 1: The EZ Up brand canopy comes in two frame materials, steel and aluminum. Is there a preferred specification?
Answer 1: USAID requires the aluminum frame.
Question 2: In the requirements for the EZ Up brand canopy, four “walls" were specified in the Statement of Work. These walls come in two styles, with a zippered entrance and without. What number of entrance(s) will be required?
Answer 2: There should be four walls in total for the canopy. The walls are detachable and interchangeable. Two of the canopy walls should have zippered entrances, and two of them should be solid walls.
Question 3: The standard stake kit comes with only four stakes and no nylon rope (not required per manufacturer). Does USAID want the quote with ten (10) stakes & nylon rope?
Answer 3: Yes. Offerors should provide a quote with ten (10) stakes and nylon rope.
Sincerely, s/
