About this file

This document is a Solicitation Amendment 1 issued by the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services for the Life Skills and Transition Center in Grafton, ND, seeking pest control services. The solicitation (Bid Number 325-25-990-008) is for comprehensive pest management covering 17 of 23 campus buildings, with services including monthly treatments and emergency services. The bid response deadline is March 18, 2025, at 12pm CT, and the current contract is held by Ecolab. The scope includes exterior fall insect treatments, weekly services, and management of potential pest issues across campus buildings and tunnels.

The amendment provides detailed insights into the current pest control environment, noting no significant bedbug or cockroach issues in the past three years. The current provider visits the campus approximately twice monthly and rents 14 insect light traps as part of the monthly service cost. The solicitation indicates an average of four callbacks and four emergency services annually. Bidders are required to complete a revised Section 5 Bid Response Form, which now includes the monthly cost for renting insect light traps.
