Solicitation Summary: Air Compressor Preventative Maintenance Services

This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the U.S. Air Force's 4th Combat Support Squadron at Seymour Johnson AFB for a five-year Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) service contract for preventative maintenance of air compressors. The solicitation number is FA480926Q0067, issued July 30, 2026, with an offer due date of August 12, 2026 at 10:00 AM. The contract is set aside 100% for small business concerns under NAICS code 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance) with a size standard of $12.5 million. The estimated contract covers maintenance at 4 Engine Maintenance Squadrons (EMS) and 4 Munitions (MUNS) locations.

The solicitation includes 20 line items covering preventative maintenance services (2 visits per year) for 18 specific air compressor units across various buildings at the base, plus 8 routine service calls and 4 emergency service calls annually. Offerors must submit unit prices for each line item; quantities are estimates only under the IDIQ structure. Inspection and acceptance will occur at two primary locations: 4 EMS MXMFE and 4 MUNS CCR, with designated points of contact provided. The period of performance is October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, with the option to extend services and the contract term for up to six months additional. Payment will be made via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), and invoicing must comply with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement requirements. Evaluation factors include technical capability, past performance, and price, with technical capability and past performance combined being approximately equal to or significantly more important than price.
