About this file
This is a Solicitation/Contract for Commercial Products and Commercial Services (Standard Form 1449) issued by the Air Force for LRS Scales Calibration services at Beale Air Force Base, California. The contract is a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside with a total contract period from 12 January 2026 to 11 July 2031, featuring a firm fixed-price arrangement and multiple option years.
The primary requirement is annual calibration, inspection, testing, and maintenance for six government-owned scales located at Beale AFB, with each contract line item (CLIN) covering a one-year period. The contract includes a base year and four option years, with each year consisting of two line items: one for the annual calibration services (6 each) and another for Over and Above (O&A) repairs not to exceed $5,000. The solicitation uses a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation approach, where offerors must submit a 5-page technical approach demonstrating understanding of the Performance Work Statement, and the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer will be awarded the contract.
