Solicitation FA465426Q0010 Grissom ARB Golf Carts Questions and Answers

1. What are the delivery truck inspection hours?

All delivery trucks shall be inspected prior to entering Grissom ARB. The inspection hours are Monday – Friday 8:15am – 3:45pm.

2. Who, where, and when will the prior inspection of the delivered golf carts take place?

If the vendor requires a pre-inspection, a point of contact will be assigned and appointed prior to delivery and the Government will schedule a pre-inspection with the vendor. PWS Section 3.0 will be corrected prior to award to change “inspections will be conducted” to “If the vendor requires a pre-inspection….”.

3. FAR clause 52.217-9 states the contractor is required to provide a maintenance technician 1 day prior to the need.

After receiving pricing, the Government will decide if a maintenance technician is worth the price and the need for the maintenance technician should be decided at initial award.
