Scope of Work: The scope of this project includes of Bartlett Lake, located along 4th Street and 22nd Avenue South. Approximately 22,806 cubic yards of material will be removed from the lake across an area of 2.62 acres. The method of dredging and disposal of the material will be determined by the contractor. Dredging activities must not impact any mangroves.

Contractor Pre-Qualifications: The Bidder is hereby advised that the City will only accept bids from qualified Contractors who have successfully completed a minimum of three (3) projects in the five (5) years preceding the advertisement for this Solicitation, and whose project superintendent has also successfully completed a minimum of three (3) projects in the five (5) years preceding the advertisement for this Solicitation, in which each of the projects meet or exceed the following qualification requirements:

A. Two (2) projects must include:

• Dredging of public waterways and

• Dredging of at least 10,000 cubic yards

B. One (1) project must include:

• Dredging of a waterway exceeding 15,000 yards of material for a public agency.

C. Each of the three (3) projects must have a construction and/or renovation value in excess of $2,000,000.

Failure to demonstrate compliance to the above requirements will render the Bid non-responsive.

Contract Completion Time: Contractor shall commence the Work within ten (10) calendar days after the City issues the Notice to Proceed. After issuance of the Notice to Proceed, the Contractor shall:

• Reach Substantial Completion of all Work within 200 calendar days, and

• Reach Final Completion within thirty (30) calendar days after the City’s delivery of the punch list.
