About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a mold remediation project for five buildings at Joint Base Andrews Air Force Base (JBA) in Maryland. The project requires comprehensive fungal growth removal from specific areas in Buildings 1794, 1811, 1628, 1245, and 1345, including offices, warehouses, dining halls, conference rooms, and a chapel. The contractor must provide full containment, HEPA vacuuming, EPA-registered antimicrobial treatments, removal and replacement of contaminated materials, and HVAC system cleaning, following IICRC S520 standards and EPA/OSHA guidelines.
Key project requirements include a 60-calendar day performance period, complete documentation of pre- and post-remediation conditions including spore trap analysis reports, and compliance with Maryland Department of the Environment regulations. Deliverables include remediation credentials, paint and ceiling tile samples, and comprehensive verification reports. The solicitation (F1D3255163A001) is issued by the Department of the Air Force Headquarters District Washington, with a site visit planned for early July 2025. Contractors must have appropriate licensing, certifications, and follow strict base access and security protocols during the remediation process.
