About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division. The document provides prevailing wage rates for Florida County of Monroe, effective December 3, 2025 (Wage Determination No. 2015-4583, Revision No. 31).

The wage determination establishes hourly rates for 225 occupational classifications across multiple categories including administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information technology, instructional occupations, machine tool operations, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical occupations, and transportation. Rates range from $12.31 per hour for parking and lot attendants to $56.28 per hour for nuclear medicine technologists. All listed occupations require fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, $222.00 weekly, or $962.00 monthly), with an alternative rate of $5.09 per hour for certain Service Contract Act performance. Employees receive two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, four weeks after fifteen years, and five weeks after twenty years; a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually; and various hazard pay differentials (4-8 percent) for specific positions. Computer employees, air traffic controllers, weather observers, and certain other positions have specialized compensation footnotes. Contractors must furnish uniforms at no cost to employees and reimburse uniform maintenance at $3.35 per week unless uniforms require only routine care. The determination includes conformance procedures requiring contractors to classify unlisted occupations through Standard Form 1444 submission to the Department of Labor for approval.
