About this file
This is a narrative proposal template for the City of Long Beach's Business Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System procurement. The City of Long Beach is seeking a CRM system to enhance service delivery to local businesses, improve data collection and availability, and support reporting on local business programming and outreach initiatives. The template guides proposers through submission requirements across several key sections, including organizational capacity and experience, method of approach, and communications and reporting capabilities.
Proposers must provide detailed organizational information, including company structure, incorporation details, and employee counts both nationally and within Long Beach. The proposal requires identification of key project staff, three professional references with project descriptions and timelines, and complete information on any subcontractors, including their qualifications and California Department of Industrial Relations registration status. The method of approach section requires proposers to describe their CRM system's core features, explain how the system meets the City's needs, provide an implementation timeline, and supply 2-3 case studies from similarly-sized cities demonstrating successful implementations. Additional requirements include detailed explanations of data integration capabilities with existing City systems, personal identifying information protection measures, necessary City support for implementation success, impact measurement and reporting capabilities, implementation management approach, training resources, technical support provisions, and subcontractor payment verification procedures. The template does not specify response deadlines, evaluation criteria, contract terms, pricing structures, or award timelines.
