About this file
This Scope of Work document outlines lobbying services for the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners. The services encompass nine primary functional areas: monitoring legislation including bills, amendments, and budgets that affect the Board and dental practice in Nevada; legislative advocacy supporting, opposing, or seeking amendments to proposed legislation; government relations focused on building relationships with legislators and policymakers; strategic planning to achieve legislative and regulatory goals; coalition building with aligned organizations and agencies; support for Board staff testifying before legislative committees; regulatory affairs engagement during rulemaking processes; crisis management for political or reputational issues; and information dissemination through regular reports and updates to executive leadership. The contractor shall deliver meeting schedules, stakeholder maps, coalition engagement plans, draft testimony, hearing preparation materials, and legislative activity reports. The Board has identified specific 2027 legislative initiatives including transitioning license renewal dates from June 30 to individual licensees' dates of birth and clarifying the two-permit structure for general anesthesia and moderate sedation.
The document does not specify pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, response dates, or award dates. No information regarding set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or budget amounts is provided in this Scope of Work. The contract represents ongoing legislative advocacy and regulatory monitoring services for Nevada's dental regulatory board during the legislative session and interim periods.
