About this file
This is a Scope of Work document issued by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) for the procurement of fencing materials to support the Grande Ronde and John Day regions. The project aims to provide landowners with non-lethal mitigation tools to reduce crop, rangeland, and haystack damage caused by wintering big game species on private lands, thereby increasing landowner tolerance for wildlife. The contractor is responsible for providing and delivering all fencing materials listed in the Mandatory Bid Form and 2026 itemized Specifications document to two separate ODFW locations in northeastern Oregon. The contractor must notify ODFW of scheduled delivery times and confirm arrangements with site staff prior to delivery. All materials must be delivered no later than May 15th, 2026. ODFW will provide the final material list, site unloading instructions, and will handle unloading using its own equipment and personnel.
Payment for this procurement will be made on a fixed-price basis following confirmed receipt and acceptance of all materials. The final order quantities may be reduced or materials removed based on pricing and budgetary considerations at ODFW's discretion. Upon delivery, ODFW will inspect all materials to ensure conformity with specifications, correct quantities, and freedom from damages and defects, with non-conforming items subject to rejection. This is classified as an intermediate procurement under Oregon Administrative Rule 125-047-0270, and the agency will not accept protests on this solicitation.
