About this file
This file is a Schedule C Specification document issued by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MDOT) for three separate roadway equipment trailer requests under RFP Department 171, Number 180000002508. The specifications detail requirements for three distinct pieces of equipment: (1) a Spray Injection Patch Trailer (Specification C36-0501.18), referenced to a Dura Patcher P2 model; (2) a Roadway Spray Crack Sealer Trailer (Specification C36-0026.18), referenced to a Crafco 47600SC100 E-Z Series II 1000 SC Melter Applicator; and (3) a Roadway Asphalt Recycler Trailer (Specification C36-0401.18), referenced to a KM International KM T-2 Asphalt Recycler. All equipment shall be new, latest model, in current production with all standard features included. Contractors are required to respond to each specification section with "YES" or provide detailed explanations and alternative options if unable to meet specifications.
Each specification contains comprehensive technical requirements organized by functional system. The Spray Injection Patch Trailer requires a 250-gallon ASME-certified pressure tank with electric blanket heating, diesel engine rated at no more than 74 horsepower, and a spray delivery system with three-section boom. The Spray Crack Sealer Trailer specifies a 265-gallon double-boiler jacketed tank, 48-horsepower Tier IV Final diesel engine, 100 CFM air compressor, and hydraulic-driven bi-directional variable speed pumping unit with heated enclosed chamber. The Asphalt Recycler Trailer requires a unit capable of recycling up to 4 tons per hour with hydraulically controlled heating drum, 700,000 BTU burner capacity, and minimum 21.6 BHP diesel engine. All three trailers require electric brakes with breakaway protection, dual axle suspension systems, 7-way Berg type connectors with MDOT-compliant wiring, LED lighting, and Dupont paint specifications.
