About this file

This file is an email chain and scope of work document related to an on-call fire sprinkler inspection and repair services contract for the New Haven Public Schools in Connecticut. The services encompass furnishing all material, labor, supervision, tools, supplies, and expenses necessary to perform sprinkler inspections and repairs work orders issued by the New Haven Public Schools Facilities Department, including testing, inspection, preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency services in compliance with NFPA 13, 20, and 25 standards. The contractor must provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspection, testing, and maintenance services for all sprinkler systems (wet/dry, fire pumps, sprinkler heads, and standpipes), as well as address both wet-side and electrical aspects of fire alarm devices and fire alarm control panels. Weekly inspections are required only for fire pumps, with other weekly inspections permitted to occur monthly per NFPA exceptions, provided proper safeguards are in place.

As of March 2025, the New Haven Public Schools indicated they had no registered vendors capable of providing these specialty fire alarm and sprinkler repair and maintenance services. No pricing terms, set-asides, contract award dates, or contract term details are specified in this file. The document serves as a scope of work and specification document to guide qualified contractors in understanding the requirements for this on-call services contract.
