About this file

This document is a Budget Fines and Penalties Chart for the New Haven Public Schools in Connecticut, detailing approved budget allocations for fiscal year 2024-2025. The chart outlines the financial framework and penalty structure for the On-Call Fire Sprinkler Inspection and Services contract, which encompasses furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, tools, and supplies necessary to perform sprinkler inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency services in accordance with NFPA 13, 20, and 25 standards. The document serves as a budgetary reference tool for the school district's Facilities Department in managing work orders and contractor performance expectations related to fire suppression system compliance and maintenance activities across school facilities.

The chart establishes the financial parameters and penalty framework governing contractor performance, including potential deductions for non-compliance, late delivery, or substandard work related to sprinkler inspection and repair services. This budgetary document supports the district's oversight of contractor obligations and provides a structured mechanism for enforcing contractual requirements while maintaining fire safety standards across New Haven Public Schools properties. The penalties and fines structure reflects the district's commitment to ensuring timely, compliant delivery of critical fire suppression system maintenance services essential to school facility safety and regulatory compliance.
